We are looking for passionate cooks to complete our team for the summer season (and beyond).

What we are looking for :

  • Experience in a professional kitchen (intermediate to advanced level)
  • Autonomy, rigor, and organizational skills

Sous-Chef — Farm-to-Table

The Role :

We are looking for a Sous-Chef to play a key role within our brigade and actively participate in the evolution of our farm-to-table cuisine.

This is a hands-on and structural position for a person who equally enjoys high-level cooking as they do supporting, organizing, and helping a team grow.

Candidate Profile :

  • Solid experience in high-level professional cuisine
  • Excellent technical mastery and autonomy in execution
  • Ability to mentor, transmit knowledge, and support a brigade
  • Creative sensibility rooted in seasonality and product
  • Comfort with working with whole products (vegetables, carcasses)
  • Genuine interest in an authentic farm-to-table approach

Job title :

Server and Service Manager

At Espace Old Mill, service is a direct extension of the farm. We believe in genuine, heartfelt, and attentive hospitality. Our service team offers each of our guests an experience that highlights the work of the land behind every ingredient.

For the summer season, we are looking to expand our dining room team with servers and service managers who want to be involved in a place where service is considered a true profession.

Working in the dining room at Old Mill is a unique opportunity to learn more about vegetable production, Quebec wine, and farm-to-table cuisine. All this in a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere.

The role - in the dining room:

  • Welcome and assist guests with care and professionalism
  • Present the cuisine, products, garden, and the philosophy of the place
  • Provide smooth, warm, and precise service
  • Work closely with the kitchen and the rest of the team
  • Contribute to a respectful and supportive work environment
  • Opportunity to take on additional responsibilities based on your interests: flowers, bar program, landscaping, boutique, and more.

Desired Profile – Head Server / Service Supervisor:

  • Significant experience in front-of-house service (refined or fine dining)
  • Strong ease with guests and ability to manage service flow and pace
  • Ability to anticipate needs, guide, and support the front-of-house team
  • Knowledge of gastronomy, wine, and local terroir products
  • Natural leadership, calm and caring demeanor
  • Knowledge of agricultural production is an asset

Desired Profile – Server:

  • Experience in the restaurant industry
  • Positive attitude, reliability, and attention to detail
  • Desire to develop skills in service and hospitality

    • Hourly wage: $13.50 to $16.50/hour + tips according to current regulations
  • Junior Server:
    • Hourly wage: $13/hour + tips according to current regulations
  • Position: Seasonal (May to October), with possibility of long-term employment
  • Schedule: Full-time or part-time
  • Meals: Meals provided during work shifts
